This group of operations needs not only immense familiarity with the technique of Magick joined with enormous vigour and skill, but a level of Mystic achievement that is exceptionally uncommon, and when discovered is typically marked by an utter apathy on the subject of any attempt to attain any Magick in the slightest. Suppose that I wish to produce a thunderstorm. This occasion is beyond my control or that of another guy; it is as worthless to focus on their minds as my own. Unless he be simply insane, he must be commenced in a Truth which transcends the evident facts. Magician must take note that all nature is a continuum, so that his mind and body are consubstantial with the thunderstorm, are expressions of One Existence, all alike of the self-same order of artifices whereby the Complete appreciates itself. In practice, the Magician must "evoke the spirits of the storm" by identifying himself with the notions of which atmospheric phenomena are the expressions as his mankind is of him; thus realized, he must visit his Will upon them by virtue of the superiority of his intellect and the integration of his intent with their undirected impulses and uncomprehending interplay. All such Magick demands the utmost precision in practice. It's true that the greatest rites give us in choosing our vehicles of force instructions. In 777 we find "correspondences" of many types of being with the various types of operation, to ensure that we understand what weapons, jewels, figures, drugs, colognes, names, etc. to apply in any particular work.
